Make Your Reservations By Telephone or Email: We are pleased to accept Visa, Mastercard, cash, or your personal check.

Reservation: To guarantee your reservation, fifty (50%) percent of your total reservation fee is required (in full for stays of one week or less). Reservations made by parties outside of the U.S. are due in full at the time of the reservation.  See Rental Agreement for payment details for Special Events, extended stays, etc.  Dates are not held until payment is received.

Cancellation or Rescheduling  Cancellation and Reschedule deadlines are based on the type of property use and rental term. Cancellation of a reservation for a short term rental stay (less than 7 days), or any portion thereof, made thirty (30) days or more prior to the reservation date, will be refunded, less an administration fee of 10% of the total rental fee.  Cancellation of a reservation which includes a Wedding, Special Event, a stay of 7 days or more and/or includes a holiday, requires 60 days’ notice of cancellation for a refund, minus a 10% administration fee.  Cancellation of a reservation for a stay of 28 days or more requires 90 days' notice for a refund, minus a 10% administration fee. Full payment is due for each reservation on or before the cancellation/reschedule deadline. Fees will not be returned without the minimum required notice of cancellation. In no event will a 'no-show', emergency or early check-out be refunded, since re-renting will not be possible with such late notice. Cancellation dates and balance due dates are based on original reservation dates, not reschedule dates. We will gladly reschedule your reservation and/or special function at no charge if prior to the 30/60/90 day deadline. However, second and later reschedules will incur a 10% administrative fee based on your original total amount. There is a three night minimum stay required for all holiday or farm rental functions.   Various rental sites may have different cancellation terms, some stricter.  Always refer to the cancellation terms of your Rental Agreement.

Security Deposit: Just like a hotel, an authorized credit card serves as your security deposit/damage protection so you do not incur non-refundable insurance fees.  No damage, no charge.  

No Tipping: There is no tipping for staff. All other policies involve making your stay enjoyable and comfortable.

Tax:  Please note that the State of North Carolina does have a 11% Sales & Lodging Tax, which we are required by law to collect for stays of less than 180 days.

Non-Smoking: Many guests at Frog Holler are health conscious and/or sensitive to tobacco smoke. There are three covered outdoor areas provided for smokers. The Gardener's House at Frog Holler is a non-smoking establishment for your health and the health of those that follow.

Pets are very welcome if accompanied by responsible pet owners and pre-approved. See Rates for Pet Fee.   

Minimum Stays:  Three nights.  Thanksgiving, Christmas and New Year's require one week minimum stays unless those dates are still available one week prior to the holiday.  

The Basic Nightly Rate of $195 includes the use of one bedroom by up to 2 guests.  Additional guests are $10 per night. Bedrooms are double-occupancy but if an additional bedroom is use by only one guest, the additional rate is $15 per night (instead of $20).  

Basic Cleaning Fee:  The Basic Cleaning Fee of $175 is included with all stays of 3 nights or more.
